What he said

If they could have just restrained themselves from putting their logo and catch phrase on the picture they could have avoided making an outrageous ass of themselves.
But they couldn't restrain themselves.
Becuase they're just another corporate entity with no fucking morals or sense of propriety.

I don't even want to go to their site to view trailers. It makes me mad that so much shit uses quicktime. Fuck a bunch of "who needs to right click?" Apple.

Also : Apparently they've always put forth ad campaigns that play off of who and what OTHERS are

I'm sure Picasso, Edison, Miles Davis, and Ghandi all were really into their iMacs. This kind of positioning is disgusting. We'll take an image of a visionary and put our logo on it, thereby painting ourself in their colors. I dislike the other Apple ad bullshit with the dancers on the colored backgrounds. But this? This is fucking disgusting. This is a great example of what happens when Ad Execs (and the companies who hire them) go way too far. And this is a pretty old campaign... so Apple has ALWAYS been lacking in decency.

Guh.

What compounds the sin is that the slogan's not even correct. "differentLY", maybe. Tossers.
