Well hot damn.

So that's Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rove, and now Gonzalez.

Considering how little time he has left in office and how poorly most people (he still has supporters) feel his is doing/has done... why bother? Do they really think that just getting another sycophant with questionable ethics out of the administration will make it better? At this point it's like killing a single flea on an infested dog and claiming to have solved the issue.

Still, I'm happy to see him go. It's not really disenfranchisement for someone like him - but it's as close as we're likely to get.

am i glad he is gone? god yes!

killing a few high profile people, without touching the rest of the herd is just going to make the sheep feel like they have a victory, not like anything else has possibly changed for the better.

on the other hand, it's taken a rather shitty day, and brightened it somewhat, so i'm gonna take what i can get right now.

I'd like to think that the prosecutors would continue to pursue the case against him. But they more than likely won't.
