-I'm exhausted, but the late night Sam babbles are worth it.
- That Brandon guy got fired yesterday.
- Really, it was just a matter of time.
- No really.
- watching movies
- avoiding certain lines of thought
- christmas shopping.

I haven't felt very articulate lately. It was really strange the other night on the phone with Sam, we actually fell into an intellectual conversation. Just a conversation about... well actually it was about god... but more about why people feel the presence of god while in natural settings and so forth. I realized that I haven't had a conversation like that in guh... well over a year.
I enjoy just being silly and talking about movies and music. But sometimes I really crave those lenghty, deep, vaguely combative conversations. It's one of the few times I can flex my vocabulary and I don't get accused of just going out of my way to "sound smart."
Part of my lack of anything to say is... well... an honest lack of anything to say. I don't go anywhere, I don't do anything... what the fuck would there be to talk about?
The other part is just my being worn out.

I need to go find some caffeine.

I just finished watching Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.
That was the lamest gaddamn movie. I'm thoroughly annoyed.
I thought that this was supposed to be about Henry Lee Lucas and Otis O'Toole. It ended up being about two guys with the same names who did a lot of random killing while living in the same place. They even made Otis' 13 year old sister into an adult woman... I guess having a divorced 13 year old becoming the common law wife of someone she knew was a killer was too much to believe?

Had they even gotten CLOSE to the ACTUAL events in the lives of these two... it might have gotten CLOSE to interesting.
As it is... it's just a really badly written, badly acted, badly shot piece of schlock.

Doesn't even rate as a decent B slasher.

Very dissapointed.
Very.
