(no subject)

I'm in the studio and in the living room I've got the tv on to... I think it's the VH1 classic channel. At least that would explain all the Journey videos they've been playing (early Steve Perry in the tightest leather pants I've ever seen, Farrah Fawcett feathered hair and a red button up shirt knotted at his waist like I've only seen glam rockers and teenagers in the 80s do is a *very* scary thing).

The music playing doesn't make me want to kill ulike the stuff on all the Mtv channels and it keeps a steady noise level so Mika doesn't wake up weirded out if I'm not in the room. But the song that was just on had just bad screechy vocals that I had to go check if she was whining.

I never knew Men at Work even *had* any other videos. But apparently the video for the song "It's a Mistake" not only exists, but includes some wacky plot with men in military uniforms. Interesting.

We have hundreds of DVDs, many for movies I've never seen, but none of them appeal to me for watching alone so more channel flipping it is. I *should* be sneaking to the basement to do laundry or cleaning the kitchen or figuring out some way to store books and tidy the dining room... but I just don't have the motivation.

I think I might connect the gamecube again and check in on my very abandoned little town in Animal Crossing. Last I played it was a perfect town with no weeds, nice little flower plots all over the place and a few money trees to boot. But considering that was... herm... June? July? I expect that there's quite a bit of cleaning up to do with it... not so sure I have the motivation for even virtual tidying.
