And they even did it in bubbly animation so you're more apt to actually look at it"

What I'd like to find is a clear cut number of iraqi deaths soldiers and civilians/ number of american deaths soldiers and civilians under George the first and continuing through Clinton's time in office and then as up to date as can be with the current body count.

I don't know a lot of people who realize the the bombing runs on iraq continued through Clinton's presidency. They didn't talk about it after awhile on the news at all unless there was an american death involved (didn't happen often. We've got death from above pretty down pat), so most people just assume that "dessert storm" ended when Bush left office, and this war on Iraq from GW is a second, new war.

Of course, most Americans are gleefully watching that horrible beheading tape and pointing to it as evidence that these people all deserve to just die... so the average american isn't someone I really care too much about, expect when it comes to their voting power.

Well the Bugs are here in full force now. I'm pretty sure these are the 17 year cicadas. Which they claimed wouldn't be that big of a deal in this area, but a bigger problem in southwest Virginia (I'm in northeast VA). I've lived in Virginia my whole life and remember these guys being all over the place when I was a kid, but I've never seen them in numbers like this.
Going outside and watching the grass move with them is one thing. Going outside and seeing the brown nymph shapes they hatched out of hanging all over every tree is another thing.

That's from literally only a few minutes of snapping pictures and just of the ones on that *one* honeysuckle bush. The backyard is like a little cicada airport right now. I came in becuase the battery on the camera died. But I would have come in very shortly anyway becuase Mika was eating the ones in the grass whos wings weren't quite dry yet. ::shudder::
