Has Microsoft been taking notes from AOL?

"You may not use the software in connection with any site that disparages Microsoft, MSN, MSNBC, Expedia, or their products or services, infringe any intellectual property or other rights of these parties, violate any state federal or international law, or promote racism, hatred or pornography." (Parse that sentence and you'll see that either it's intended to be even more overreaching than it first appears or somebody in Microsoft legal needs to brush up on his or her grammar.)

uh.....
hrmm.... sounds like MS saying "even though you payed for the right to use this software, you can't use it to excersize your constitutional rights as an American citizen concerning free speech, expression, etc. "

this is new to who?

MS has been leaning in this general derection for a long time, nice to see they've finally commited it to writing such that the ACLU can get nasty on them :)
