Woke up with it in my head

Wish you were here.

So, So you think you can tell..
Heaven from hell
Blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rain
A smile from a veil
Do you think you can tell.
Did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts
Hot ashes for trees
Hot air for a cool breeze
Cold comfort for change
Did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, How I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls living in a fish bowl, year after year
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
WIsh you were here.

That reminds me...
... I want to go by Silver Platters during lunch and pick that up, also a new copy of DSOM. My Pink Floyd collection was destroyed about nine years ago, by a certain then-one-year-old child...

Scary thought: DSOM was published several years before you were born. BABY boomers listen to it.

Re: That reminds me...
But... but... what's that matter, dammit?
I listen to ella fitzgerald and glen miller too.
Good music is good music.

Besides, DSOM is the only way I can watch the Wizard of Oz.
And ya know, '77 was a damned good year. Excellent vintage. I'm just right, damn ye.
