So you ban people because don't want them posting on your lj, and then you advertise that you had to ban them... iiiiinteresting.
gloating it cool? hehe.
We all gloat, so I suppose that's alright. I just wish you'd .. ya know... categorize what happened on my journal just a lil more accurately. You were offsides, and I said no. So I got banned because I won't let you anonymously flame a friend.
That's what I think I like about LJ
We all get to be Lords of Our own little Kindgdoms.
We are the most important thing in our own digital LJ worlds.
The biggest losers still get their chunk of LJ land and the coolest schmoes are just like the losers when you look at them all clumped together in binary.
It's like.. the great equalizer.

but not really

Exactly. You can build your little realm where you have absolute control and don't have to tolerate dissent. You don't have to be logical, you don't have to be tolerant in any way, shape, or form. You can be the petty tyrant you always wanted.

It's all insecurity, though. Most of the people here seem to have this keen awareness of how little they matter in the grand scheme, of how socially adept they aren't, and try to avoid confronting that fact. Banning someone from your journal, deleting comments, all that online idiocy is just another way to avoid having someone point out the shortcomings you can't deal with.

Fuck 'em. That's what I say. Who wants to be a subject in that kind of petty kingdom?

Oh, and if you want to call me a hypocrite right about now, that's fine.

defensive much?
The reason I said "we ALL " get to be those kings instead of "The people who suck" get to is because we *all* do it.
For a lot of people this is one of the few places they can exercise control on their surroundings.

Not defensive at all. I was serious. I started thinking about the fact that it was me saying all that and I had a "d'oh" moment. I just try to be aware of when I'm doing it and avoid it.
