"tired of being limited to only forty or fifty subgenres of electronica? feeling creatively limited in your conversations with DJ friends? no longer.
with ths handy-dandy tool, you will discover over 1645 possible subgenres!"

I'm adoring this.
That's how I feel anyway when I'm talking about electronic music. I might as well just make shit up because how much do the labels matter anyway until you hear it? I honestly can't *explain* musical genres. Any of them. I can only compare them to other things.

The problem is, most of the things I like are *really* weird.

"Minimal Drum-n-Bass" , "Future Breaks (it's all about texture)", "Hypnotic Hip-Hop ( I was burnin that shit over a year ago...)"...

hehe but this is damned funny.

I really enjoy physical labor. Really. When I like most.. is that moment where you realize you're sweating. Especially if that moment happens because a single trickle of sweat has just decided to release from somewhere around your shoulder blades and slide down your spine.
Why I like this, I don't think I can explain.
In a way, it reminds me of being a little kid. I was *never* indoors as a child unless I was in school, asleep or I was being forced to be there by some adult person. Dark tanned, light blonde hair, freckles, and more war wounds than I could list off to you any given hour on any given week.
I miss that.

Ah yes but now we have the internet which enables us to spend 23.5 hours a day indoors. Hooray!

So...in your wise years of Electronica, can you tell me of anyone who does good ambient-celtic type songs?

I guess I need to put some quotes around things so it's a little more clear what is me and what was the site, hmm?

ANd in my experience (which is admitedly limited) there is no such thing as "good celtic ambient"

ya ever check out Afro-Celtic Sound System?

i am not too big on Celtic stuff but I saw them perform last year and was duly impressed.

I also think Bill Laswell did some type of ambient/celtic thing but I dont remember what it was even called. Probably a search on Bill Laswell would yield some good results?

Re: Sweat?
There was a reason I compared it to being a kid and a tomboy.
physical labor in something I'm *choosing* to do.

I don't mind sweating my ass off painting or fixing the garden or working in a hot kitchen because those are pursuits I enjoy.

Re: Sweat?
Painting is easy, just you, the wall, and whatever music your listening to...

...now putting up dry wall that has to go on the ceiling...now that's a feat! Especially if you have to do it by yourself...

Re: Sweat?
Oh, so you *enjoy* coming off in text like an idiot.
Seriously, man, you sound like hamlettwisty sometimes.

The whole "Oh, I just don't care about spelling, grammar, or sentence structure," thing that people spew is such a ball of crap. You aren't inventig a new language by using the rules of this one poorly. And you aren't expressing yourself effectively at all.

Oh, and don't be running my user icons through any more photo applications, okay? It's creepy.

Eh well, Anime rots your mind.

Just so your not that afraid I do pass English Classes in college. Its just different when I type online, I'm not trying to type out long essays when I'm posting. So forgive me for not being picky about the English Language.

Oh yeah, I only ran your picture through because I wondered what you looked like right-side up. I didn't think your face was that sharp.
