I want to learn Go.
I can't wrap my brain around chess, though many well meaning and probably unlterior motive toting young men have attempted to teach me in the past. But I want to learn Go. What's wrong with me?

I also want to find a way to pack ice into my skull to make my head stop hurting.
I think it just might work.

I am not ashamed to mention that I am a phenominal chess player. I spent many a day in Washington Square park playing grand master homeless people.

I used to think I was O.K. at Go. I played a few people that I knew. I played a gentlemen at Princeton U once that beat me so badly that I now realize it would take me years to become any good at the game.

As far as packing Ice into your skull goes: You need to fill your ears with as much water as possible and stick your head in the freezer for a couple of hours. Just be careful that it doesn't turn into some disfunctional Sylvia Plath thing.

If it's not a gas-powered freezer, it should be fine.

To tell the truth, I've never met *any* chess playing man who was ashamed to say that he was a phenomenal chess player, wether it was true or not.

I spent a few years slouching away my existence at a goth/punk coffee place (where the favorite beverage was the blue koolaid in a quart mason jar) that had 5 chess tables and any number of mysterious intellectual types who would just looooove to council chicks on the intricate inner workers of chess movement and strategy as an "in".

So yeah ... I've met a lot of "chess studs" as I used to call them.

I just rely on my stunning good looks and amazing charm as my "in".
