Lil creepy, kept asking me questions about who the package was to, what was in it, why I was sending it... And left me with the advice "don't eat broken glass."
Went to the video place, and picked up La Femme Nikita (the original), Run Lola Run, Donnie Darko, Pi, and a strange movie that sounded neat and goofy, Adrenaline Drive. I also found, but didn't get (this time) Meals on Wheels (aka: Kwai tsan tseh). It Stars Jackie Chan, Biao Yuen (who's been in quite a few Jackie Chan movies and Sammo Hung, and was *directed* by Sammo.
Next week, I'll have to pick it up. I've just been told that I'm a special gwai lo (gaijin, honkey lips) so I'd probably dig it.
The weirdo video guy was there again, chatting me up way too much, talking about my sweater.
He went on about Auburn university and how he's from California, was I, oh that's cool... blah blah blah. I got this sweater a few years ago at a thrift store. It's really super warm (because it's wool), but I never wore it before now becuase it was too small, really. I found it in a drawer today and even though it really isn't wool sweater sort of weather, I had to wear it anyway.
But then I did of course realize that it says AUBURN really big right across my boobs.
altoid tangerine sours are wonderful. I rock. g'night detroit!
