I wonder why the Kids in the Hall never sued Mike Meyers for ripping the Doctor Evil character off from Brain Candy.

Well I hope you're pleased. Now I'm yearning for some Kids in the Hall goodness.

Favorite part of that movie is when Brendan Frasier is going on about how he KNOWS it's a sugar pill. Kills me every time.

Supposedly (Mike Myers') Dr. Evil is based on Lorne Michaels, long-time producer of Saturday Night Live. At first I thought that was just a joke, but now whenever I see Lorne on the show it's painfully obvious. The voice, the mannerisms... pretty funny, actually. It's been a really long time since I've seen Brain Candy, though, so I'm blanking on the reference. All I can picture right now is "CAT ON MY HEAD! CAT ON MY HEEEEEAAAAAAAADDDDDD!!"

Near the end when the evil pharmeceutical owner is in a sort of a 60's hipster suit, with his finger in the elaborate brace.
The voice is obviously the Lorne Michaels thing (he produced the movie and the KTH... but you know that) and the clothes look like a blue version of Dr. Evil's signature outfit.
