My mom says she's been in there awhile (taking a shower) so she probably won't be too much longer.
So I go to get dressed and remember that I really needed to do laundry last night (but couldn't becuase she was using the washer and dryer) So I have to try on all my pants to find the ones that are least mishappen/wrinkled/dirty. The same thing with all my shirts.
I waited until my sister was out of the shower and she walks past my door in a huff, "I'm out of your way now" ...
I hadn't even said anything and it was only about 20 minutes. When I first woke up it was annoying... becuase EVERYTHING is annoying when I first wake up. But then I made coffee and got dressed and just waited. No big whoop.
So I do the hair things and the deodorant and the nice smelling stuff and the contacts.
I come down and say to my mom that she has to remind me to do laundry tonight. I can't dig through all my clothes at 5 in the morning tomorrow finding the thing that's been worn least. My sister says "you can do a load of laundry if you need to," in this hurt, defensive tone that is her trademark. "Oh no... not right now. I have to go to work and it would sit there all day and you need to do *your* laundry. It'll wait... but I should really do it tonight."
And she had a look that I know and a just... vibe ... that I know and I said "I'm not trying to make you feel bad, Wendy."
And the tone went into fever pitch and she said "I KNOW HOLLY. AND I DON'T FEEL BAD. AT ALL."
Gaddamn I cannot imagine living with myself if I were forced to.
Becuase I know that I do that same shit.
On a completely different note... the toys you could make money off of right now if you find one and put it on Ebay....
Chicken Dance Elmo (it's elmo in a chicken suit. It sings the chicken dance. It dances. Scary stuff)
Beyblades (apparently they're tops. Like little spinny tops that have hard little edges and they like.. "fight" each other. And they're REALLY popular. They come with an arena you can play with them in and they come in at least 3 different styles.... so much of my info on this is sketchy becuase we can't keep them in stock)
Furreal Kitties (looks like, moves like, acts like a cat... but no hairballs or piss puddles to ever deal with)
If I think of any others, I'll let ya know. The entreprenurial spirit is a wonderful thing.
