- Jeremy's whole reason for preferring playstation2 over gamecube or xbox is "they suck".
- You can't argue with people who just repeat instead of reason.
- I did something to my hair tonight that may very well end up being horrible.
- I have to work at 4 am, doing crap that I *hate* doing with the most boring people on earth.
- I need to remind myself on a daily basis to snag boxes or I will TOTALLY forget.
- This weekend wasn't a bad one, but I really wish I'd been in DC instead.
- BookWorm Deluxe is the most addictive game I've ever played.... this week.
- Aphex Twin = Good. J Lo = Bad.
- It's not that I have no time for the journal stuff. It's that I don't need the place for the brain spillage anymore.
There just isn't as much stuff. And what stuff there is is so dealable that it seems a waste of my time to type it all out.
- People write fucked up things. And then I read them.
- I'm sorry that there are so many broken people in the world. And I'm sorry that so many of them would be really good people if they just weren't so broken.
But that's where my involvement ends these days.

These are good days.
Not ideal. yet.
But good.

good is good.

ever talk to someone about movies and they hated a certain movie simply because they didn't like the main character(s)? I hate that.

ever talk to someone about movies and they like a movie just because "well, I dunno..." ?

I find that even MORE aggravating.

that's a tough one (and annoying) -- although -- usually a person will say something like that about a movie if they're intimidated by the person that they're saying it to... unless they're a person at the bus stop, in which case, well, you know..

Actually, that's as good a reason as any I can think of. If it was their justification for picking a philosophy of life, yeah, that'd be a little iffy... but for a movie? There's just no need to spend *all* that much time thinking about it.

hmm.. okay.. apparently I do a lot of pointless thinking.

That's not news.

yeah, I wasn't really being contrite there, Gates.

I think about movies and books and so forth rather deeply. I pull them apart and nit pick and repeat and criticize and so forth.
Becuase I actually really love movies.
The sort of people who have a shrug and a "eh, I liked it" or some really lame reason for not liking something... it's obvious they really aren't very interested in movies in the first place.

but then again... I'm sort of frighteningly passionate about the things I dig.
