la la la
I'm home for a few days and then we're off to Las Vegas.

I just can't seem to get myself to really *move* today. I woke up late (the sleep was nice, actually, as I didn't really *rest* a lot while in florida), but then I've just sort of putzed around all day.
I need to make a lil list of stuff I need and do some "going to be gone for a week" preparation on the house this evening and tomorrow.

Florida was great. Karl's parents are the sweetest people ever and Daytona is really beautiful. The weather was great both there and in Orlando. Disney was very very damned cool for a lot of reasons. Between the older and rides like Pirates of the Carribean and the Haunted Mansion and the newer things like Alien Encounter, there was a great balance between mellow artistry and actual thrills.
I dug *everything* we saw (cept for that Pooh ride. That was kind of lame) but I think that the Haunted Mansion was my favorite with Pirates of the Carribean coming in a close second.

Splash Mountain was cool too...

and Thunder Mountain railroad.

Okay... so I liked EVERYTHING. hush.
I'm such a lil kid. heheh

The kitties are so happy that there are people in the house again that they literally will not leave me alone. And that's just fine, because I don't mind.

ALright... I have to go do something with myself or I'll be annoyed at me.

Did they have Mr. Toad's Wild Ride? No Disney experience is complete without Mr. Toad.

And, um, er... no, I don't think I'll bring that up. 'Cept to note that it's good to hear you having fun for once.

Karl took me on the Small World Ride... for the torment.
But the thing that's stuck in my head is "Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!"

which is juuuuust fine.

i ::heart:: pirates. i made everyone go on that one. they cleaned it up, you should know, and made it politically correct. pirates used to chase women, and women used to smack them in heads with frying pan. but no more.

stil i likes it.

Bugger. Mr. Toad was perfect, in his own way. Especially on acid.

hehe... you don't think you'll bring up WHAT?
TELL MEEEEE..
you know you can't do that crap to me.

And Sheryl is correct.
Mister Toad's Wild Ride was replaced by the Pooh Bear ride, which we road only because it was a new one that neither of us (obviously not me) had ever been on.

It was sort of... cheap.
::shrug::

and ya know, Michael, it's nice to be HAVING fun for once.

hehe.. I'm sure we won't be able to avoid them, actually.

Las Vegas has quite a booming goth scene, from what I hear.
