I've been up since around 5:30 this morning. Both me and Karl had issues falling asleep last night and then tossed and turned anyway. Just couldn't get comfortable. It was right around the time that he was getting up to get in the shower that I finally got some actual sleep. He had to take a stupid one day trip to Columbus today. Initially they were going to take the company shuttle but then it turns out that that only runs between Dulles and the office in New York and doesn't go out to the Ohio office anymore. So he's out to Columbus this morning where it is currently snowing and horrible. Then he has his flight this evening back out and will probably get back around 10. And it's supposed to snow here today. So all the way around he's going to get fucked over. He took extra socks and boxers anticipating that he might get stuck there.

We unfortunately have some experience having a flight cancelled in Ohio. Not fun. I hate Ohio. For a lot of reasons. Today I hate it becuase Karl has to fly out there for the day.

Thankfully he *should* be back home tonight. But he'll have to go to work tomorrow morning anyway so this whole week is going to be one long exhausted thing.

I'm very tired and it's 8 am and I'm alredy feeling bored. heh. If it's gonna snow I want it to snow after I've had a chance to go to the store and Karl is here and we have a full stock-pile of firewood. And then I want it to snow so much that we're stuck here for a few days and he can't go to work.

Also: Bird Flu? Really? Still/Again?

Also: I'm so increasingly pissed off at the limp-dick self satisfied liberal assholes in this country who think a snappy slogan, a token effort, and a sense of righteous indignation are all it takes to change the world. "If everyone just thought the way I do...". Don't get me wrong... I'm a raging liberal. But I can't align myself with these slogan slinging morons who believe everything they read on the liberal blogs just because it was posted. I mean... it's on the Internet. Has to be true, yes? I know people like to follow things. But if you're the self proclaimed "thinkers", try not to be such horrendous sheep, eh?
