He was there at 6 to catch the "shuttle" plane from Dulles to New York. He'll be there for a couple days testing. Unfortunately he's got so much work to do that he isn't really going to have any free time otherwise I'd have gone with him. And he doesn't want to go places/do things that he would want to do with me because I'm not going. I don't think he'll even go to Soup Burg. We just stopped in for donuts and coffee at the counter last time because it was 16 (-8 for you Celsius bastards) degrees and we'd decided to walk somewhere, which wasn't smart. But their burgers just *looked* fantastic. I think he's going to get his grease quotient though at Sassy's and Papaya King. I'm pretty sure he talked his coworker into giving them a shot.
And don't start that Papaya King/Gray's Papaya crap with me. Papaya King opened as a fruit juice stand in 1931 called Hawaiian Tropical Drinks, Inc. Sometime in the late 30s/early 40s he added hot dogs. He changed the name officially to "Papaya King" in the early 60s.
Gray's Papaya started in the early 70s as a clone of Papaya King. They're both good for totally different reasons. Gray's Papaya has been in a lot more movies/tv shows and is probably more recognizable.
I'm really tired. And meandering. Because I started to write this at 8:45. Yowsah. If there were room on the dog bed, I'd go lay down with Mika right now.
