Anyway - this was my favorite Cnet review for the BlackJack II :
3 out of 10.
Pros: Sexy appearance, light weight.
Cons: Impossible to use.
This was my first smartphone and I used it for about 60 minutes before giving up in disgust and returning it to the AT&T store. To be honest the fault is probably with Windows Mobile and smartphone design restrictions in general, rather than Samsung in particular. The keys are way too small and too close. The ringtone could barely be heard in noisy traffic (even at full volume) and the software is completely counter-intuitive and complex. After 20 years of using Windows, I thought I would be able to figure out this device quickly. But I never could figure out how to change the home page, or even start an application, like "Word". I'm sure it can be done, but I'm busy and don't want to have to go to school for a week just to learn how to use a silly gadget that's supposed to be a timesaver.
When they invent a PDA that's useful, let me know please. I'm getting a new flip phone.
